Functional Skills Maths Course

Ensure your mathematical skills are up to workplace standards with our Functional Skills Maths course. This programme covers essential problem-solving techniques, calculations, and practical applications of maths in real-life scenarios. Additionally, employability training is included to enhance career prospects.

Course Duration

The standard course runs for 12 weeks, one day per week. We offer weekend classes from 10 AM – 1 PM or 6 PM – 9 PM. An intensive six-week option is also available.

Course Content

• Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Decimals and percentages
• Money calculations
• Temperature, time, and measurements
• Ratios and probability
• Averages and data analysis

Course Levels

We offer Entry Levels (1, 2, and 3), Level 1, and Level 2. Our team will assess your skills to place you in the appropriate level. The awarding body is NCFE.

Eligibility & Funding

This course is fully funded for unemployed individuals receiving benefits and employed individuals who:

• Are aged 19 or older as of 31st August 2018.
• Have not achieved a GCSE grade A* – C (or grade 4) or higher in Maths.
