Level 2 Certificate in understanding safeguarding and “prevent”

In 2019, a total of 5,738 individuals were referred to the Prevent programme, with the education sector accounting for 33% of this number. Anyone wanting to work in local authorities, schools, colleges, uniformed services or health and social care needs to be aware of safeguarding and the Prevent duty and how to include these principles in their day-to-day work practices. This Level 2 course will give you a greater awareness of safeguarding and the Prevent strategy, the responsibilities and procedures involved, and how to raise concerns effectively.

Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration (RQF)

Course overview:

This qualification aims to provide learners with the underpinning knowledge that is required by employees to work in a range of different environments in a business administration role.

 

The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to develop essential knowledge on how to carry out administrative tasks such as how to manage information and support events, as well as how to apply their knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.

Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.

 Units:

Learners must achieve five mandatory units and at least two optional units.

Progression:

Successful learners can progress to Level 2 Diploma or Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration.
